The other day I was talking to this hip girl at a party in Brooklyn. I mentioned something about skateboarding, and she instantly shot back, “Oh, do you know about the Bloby’s? I follow them on Instagram, they’re so cool.” That’s a true story, and it goes to show how transcendent those Parisian playboys are – even if they didn’t make it into Vogue’s Fashion Week, there’s something about them that gets girls (and guys) riled up. Maybe most of all the young Kevin Rodrigues of Polar and Cons.
Kevin has been doing it his way for a while now, and without hesitation, he sent us his very own Jenkem Mix. Usually we hit up skaters and ask them to send us a tracklist so our DJ can mix it proper, but Kevin edited and mixed this one himself. With no additional notes or tracklist from Kevin, it’s up to you to skim through and listen to this one to get some of Kevin’s flavor.
Check out his mix below, and download it here while you can.
More Mixes? Check out German Nieves, Lucas Puig, Aaron Herrington, Riley Hawk, Anthony Pappalardo, Jim Greco, John Cardiel, Alien Workshop, Brian Anderson, Baker, Bronze, Brad Cromer, Alex Olson, Sage Elsesser, THPS, Sean Pablo or Jesse Alba.
