Skateboarders have pretty diverse music tastes, but for a while many years ago, it seemed like everyone thought we were only interested in two genres: Rock or Rap. Thankfully, we have been growing away from those limiting molds, with videos like Pretty Sweet mixing it up with pretty diverse tracks, even if we weren’t huge fans of it. In this mix, Brian Anderson takes it a step further, throwing in Aphex Twin, Phil Collins and even a new Lady Gaga song for good measure. A bold move, and just one of the many many reasons Brian continues to be the best: he doesn’t let “skate law” or others dictate what he should or shouldn’t be doing.

It would matter. For all of the kids that struggle with sexuality issues.. to have someone they look up to, come out and be honest about themselves.. would be a huge thing and ultimately be positive for the growth of the skateboard culture as a whole.
I think that if b.a. is indeed gay, he should have made it known alongside the introduction of 3D skateboards. Would have been a positive movement & given 3D some publicity.
Gay or straight, ppl still love anderson.
So forget the negative backlash that narrow minded individuals may express. Be true to your fans and be responsible for expanding the minds of all skateboarders and increasing the positivity
