You know her for her kickflips and WKND animations, and possibly for designing Swedish skate plazas, and maybe even more fondly for her breakout part in the most important skate video to ever come out of Boston (sorry Fancy Lads, but you understand).
Now, whether you want to or not, prepare to get familiar with Alexis Sablone’s music taste.
Alexis kept her mix relatable with some standard skate vid-friendly bands (The Smiths, New Order, Tears For Fears) and well-known but not completely overblown rappers (that means no Big L). But Alexis also flexed with some dance-y numbers and Ethiopian jazz hits.
To add a lil’ spice and transition between tracks we also took some samples from one of her favorite movies and threw them here and there to keep it flavorful and flowing.
Unfortunately, she forgot to add “Mambo Italiano” to her mix (not the fake-ass Dean Martin cover, the original as sung by George Clooney’s aunt). So if this mix isn’t 100% up your alley, listen to the classic and get hyped to try to improve your kickflips and pop.
Stream Alexis’s mix below or download it here while you still can. And if you’re out practicing your kickflips, be sure to send us your clips by AirDropping them straight to the trash.

More Mixes? Check out: Heath Kirchart, Bill Strobeck, Blondey McCoy, Louie Lopez, Nora Vasconcellos, Alltimers, Rodrigo TX, Stefan Janoski, Franky Villani, Pass~Port, The 69 Mix, Beagle, LurkNYC, Bam Margera, Mike Arnold, Jason Sallilas, or Kevin Rodrigues.
