Milan, Italy. By now we’ve all seen the clips. The waxed to hell, long ass granite ledges. The flip ins. The flip outs. It’s hard to believe that six odd years ago most of the skate industry paid no mind to Italy, let alone knew Milano Centrale.
Kicked off by the Rat Ratz and skaters like Vince Palmer and Jacopo Carozzi, it’s a scene that has gotten a lot of love over the past couple years, and as a result, more crews are popping up.
One of those is Panorama. Created by longtime Rat Ratz affiliate and filmer Luka, aka Spezzatura, the crew is making sure Milan skateboarding isn’t just a blip in time.
Through their namesake video series Panorama and bonus Rawr videos, they’ve introduced their own characters and styles. And following the release of their latest video “Panorama 4” some crew staples visited New York.
Through plenty of WhatsApp messages and a few slow mornings watching Italian music videos we agreed to document a couple of their days in the city.
