Despite playing one of the sketchiest teenage characters in the highly sketchy movie Kids, Leo Fitzpatrick avoided the tabloid pitfalls of childhood fame in his real life and maintained a legit acting career. He went on to play roles in The Wire, Sons of Anarchy, and the cinematic masterpiece called CKY2K.
Leo grew up coming into the city from Jersey to skate downtown all day with fellow natives Bobby Puleo and Tim O’Connor (among others), then stuck around to sneak into raves at night. That’s likely how he got his first taste of DJing and nightlife, and now that he’s well into his adult life, he’s started spinning at clubs and bars around the city himself.
Rather than try to mash what he was thinking when putting this mix together into words, we’ll let Leo describe it himself: “I just want it to be good to skate to…like skating-fast-the-wrong-way-through-traffic good.”
Download Leo’s mix here while you can, and don’t get mad if you get yelled at for pushing full-speed the wrong way down the block.

Was thinking it’d be cool to have Chloe Sevigny be the 100th in the mix series..don’t know how far of a reach that is. Anyway, spoke to Quasi AM: Justin Henry via DM the other day. He’s been willing to get something going.. so @ Ian let me mix this for 101 or 102. Justin rips and had a great part in Mother and clips in the AM Scramble video. Would be cool to see the dude get some attention.
