If you’re the .05% of people that pays attention to video credits, you may be familiar with Rye Beres. He’s the brother of Antihero pro and head trauma survivor, Raney Beres, and until very recently, Rye led the video department at Crailtap, the former pioneer in lifestyle, b-roll, behind the scenes skate clip web content.
Filmers tend to have a good ear for music, so we asked Rye to list some tracks. Some songs may seem a little soft, but a lot of them are dripped in nostalgia and were featured in classic videos (In Bloom, Video Days, Jackass: The Movie, etc.)
So if you’re looking for songs to use in your next edit, you’re in the right place. If you’re looking for bread for a roast beef sandwich, keep scrolling.
Stream Rye’s mix below, and if you’re into it, download it here while you can.
More Mixes? Check out: Heath Kirchart, Bill Strobeck, Blondey McCoy, Louie Lopez, Nora Vasconcellos, Alltimers, Rodrigo TX, Stefan Janoski, Franky Villani, Pass~Port, The 69 Mix, Beagle, LurkNYC, Bam Margera, Mike Arnold, Jason Sallilas, or Kevin Rodrigues.
