Having just spent a sun kissed hour on the rooftop of Jenkem HQ listening to Jackie Michel‘s mix, I feel confident saying that if skateboarding doesn’t work out, she’ll have no problem landing a job creating soundtracks for A24 movies.
Her mix ranges from chevy big block rock to starry eyed bedroom pop, and while I’m unsure if the inclusion of Goodbye Horses is referencing Marc Johnson’s part in Fully Flared or its spot on the Skate 3 soundtrack, it’s a nice touch.
I recommend rewatching Limo’s latest vid and then going for a sunset drive with the windows down for this one. Kudos to Jackie.
