Any serious skate fanatic has wondered at least once in their life what it would be like to break down skate videos by numbers. Pull out a pen and notepad, cue up a video, and start scribbling down as many data points as you can count.
The process is a serious grind, but luckily we have guest contributors, and one of them spent dozens of hours coming up with a pretty thorough skate video data analysis.
Jared decided to analyze some skateboarder’s entire careers through their video parts, appreciating them in a new way, starting with Jim Greco’s 25+ year prolific career.

I’d love to see the stats of Koston. Wathing his parts, it’s rather hard to figure out what his “favorite” trick is – what the bs bigspin is for Ellington, or the fs flip for Raynolds – does Koston have any? IMHO, he has done pretty much every trick in the book, but very seldom do you see him do any tricks twice.

Seeing this for an entire video would be sick. Who has the ‘best’ part? Most unique trick selection?
