As we wrap up another year, let’s take a collective exhale. It was a tough one, full of rampant political and economic anxiety, AI slop, and let’s face it, death. But despite all that, skateboarding found a way to push on.
We saw historic moments, most recently with Joslin’s triumph over El Toro, as well as an exciting debut full-length from SciFi Fantasy, and pro nods to some of our favorites: Poe Pinson, Sully Cormier, and Eetu Toropainen.
With the good, we were also graced by the odd, funny, and sometimes straight-up bad. From boomers with cellphones to repetitive forehead destruction and whatever EDGLRD is on, we had our fair share of memorable moments.
So before we let this year hit the Irish exit let’s take some time to revisit some of the best and worst moments of the year in our 9th Annual Superlatives List.

My favorite piece from Jenkemmag thid year was the Yuri one. The footage, beagle and « we can grab a coffee and go to a park » the shifty bail, the swag talk with the child and the make were dooope. Thanks for that.
