At every Tampa Pro or Tampa AM, one moment always lives on longer than the beer-soaked weekend and contest results.
In the past we’ve been blessed with a filmer getting knocked out and Chad Fernandez and Billy Rohan practicing Tae Bo. This year, in addition to meeting the Almost Backflip Girl™, we were gifted a speech that some of us might call poetry, because it’s from the one and only King of the Lizards.
At one point during the weekend, Lizard King was called up on stage to receive some kind of award for promoting a CBD brand. But rather than just accept the award and move on, Lizard used the opportunity to share some heartfelt wisdom.

It’s hard to remember any speech from another pro skater, but this longwinded one from Lizard King will keep us entertained for a while.
