Strobeck was jazzed after putting together his first Jenkem Mix so he made another one, which he calls “The mix for when your parents fight.” Like the first one, this bonus mix hits a range of genres, but now the songs all work together to block out your overstressed parents during the holidays while they’re arguing about what’s tearing your family apart more: you or their unfulfilled expectations of you.
Let John Frusciante pluck your heart apart, fade out to SALEM’s witchy beats, or scheme on god with inspiration from Tyshawn Jones’ mellow bars. Or just pretend it’s your own mix and throw it on around your friends to flex your hip music taste.
Stream Strobeck’s second mix below, and if you’re into it, download it here while you can.
