Have you ever wondered what Australian culture is like but don’t have money to get an overpriced imported Foster’s beer? Well, here ya go. Trent over at Pass~Port, Australian board brand and sponsor of the infamous bubbling Callum Paul, sent over this mix of local Aussie bands.
While listening we were shocked to learn two things: One, that folk down unda’ actually have time to make music while they’re not busy punching kangaroos in the face, and two, that most Aussie music does NOT take advantage of their national instrument, the didgeridoo. However, this mix of ambient indie rock delivers some of the chillest vibes when you’re playing knifey spoony with your best blokes. So order some Vegemite, pop this mix on, and discover some new Aussie feelings for yourself. Good on ya!
Stream Pass~Port’s mix below, and if you’re into it, download it here while you can.

More Mixes? Check out: Bill Strobeck, Blondey McCoy, Louie Lopez, Nora Vasconcellos, Alltimers, Rodrigo TX, Stefan Janoski, Franky Villani, Pass~Port skateboards, The 69 Mix, Beagle, LurkNYC, Bam Margera, Mike Arnold, Jason Sallilas, or Kevin Rodrigues.

‘O.G. Fleshlight, the didgeridoo’
Mike Bloom do you have any idea of how culturally insensitive that is?
It disturbs me how often people, especially from the US, associate the didgeridoo with white Australia. It was also recently used in a Jack Fardell SOVRN clip.

Pissed Aussie that SOVRN didgeridoo also irked me. Imagine a white US skater skating to Native American drum and flute for their debut part in an australian company. Some dunce level brain waves on that one.
