There’s tons of good skateboarders these days, but very few with an eye or visual aesthetic that inspires you to get off your ass. Informed by Jacob Harris and James Cruickshank‘s video work, Shari is one of the fresh faces assembling and documenting skating’s next generation of skaters – as Johnny Wilson and Strobeck did before her. She has been both in front of the camera and behind it, putting out Skate Witches edits which led to Vans tapping her to produce their recent video Credits. Leading the pack as the first woman to direct a skate video for a major shoe brand, we thought she would be a good candidate for a one sheet to turn us all onto some new interests.
