There are 1,525 miles of bike lane throughout New York City and 26,000 available CitiBikes in NYC. I make the point to stress these statistics because out of all the miles of bike lane and available bikes there’s only one crew taking advantage of these numbers in a way as insane as the CitiBikeBoyz.
Head honcho Jerome Peel is known for turning things like burnt cars and discarded desks into obstacles, popping over them with the ridiculously heavy public bikes. Seriously, you have to ride them yourself to realize how clunky they are.
For his mix, we expected some Slayer, but were surprised to see a slew of niche and popular rap, a stand alone New York club banger, and a classic Alice in Chains arena smash.

although it has nothing to do with skateboarding, I like it. Its got destruction, stunting, skill and silliness all in one. But mainly the destruction. It seems that these rent a bikes are in all major cities. Its time to take this show on the road.
I’m sure rims are being taco’d and frames cracked. Has Citibike ever went after these rascals for broken property ? I envision a slew of re-racked broken Citibikes.
