I always joke that pro skaters all secretly want to be musicians, and musicians all secretly want to be pro skaters. That’s obviously not true, but it’s a funny trope that maybe made more sense back in the Piss Drunx era.
Playing in hardcore bands like Grand Scheme and Payload while releasing footage like this for Quasi, obviously Dane Barker didn’t have to choose one over the other. Shame we can’t all be so lucky!
