As you can imagine, there are not always fresh stories to cover in skateboarding. New brands only pop up every so often, and you don’t really see skaters beefing to no end on IG like you used to. That’s why whenever we catch word of a tale that feels just a bit out of the ordinary, we’ll investigate it to no end.
That’s what happened after we saw this post by Tom Karangelov sharing rumors about a skate spot in Orange County and its supposed ties to Satanism. We were dubious of the claims at first, but were dying to learn more, so we got to digging.
We won’t spoil too much more and hope you enjoy our little journey into The Devil’s Playground.

This was fantastically well done! The B roll, the interviews, the historical research and footage, the editing… Gotdamn, boys! Fascinating subject and engaging filmmaking, I’m stoked!
