Last week we issued a challenge to you all, dear friends, to grab a book and a skateboard, and get to reading while skating. We dicked around a bit on our lunch break to get it all started, but in the five days since posting our clip, we’ve been outshined and outdone by pretty much all of the entries so far. We wanted to take a moment to show off a handful of our current favorites, to maybe inspire and incentivize the rest of you to get off your couch and get on the ‘gram.
The contest is still up and running until Friday, September 9, so grab that book you planned to read over summer break and hit the streets. Post your best tricks while reading any book to Instagram, and we’ll pick five of the best submissions to give a big box of stuff to each of them. Yup, each winner will get: one copy of Vol. 1, a set of newly minted Jenkem pins, some stickers, six pairs of Cons (yes, SIX!), and a custom, hand-crafted wooden shoe box. Anything goes, bonus points for originality and extra bonus points for slams. Just make sure to hashtag #jenkemvol1 and tag @jenkemmag and @converse_cons on Instagram to make sure we see it.
