How much did Adidas pay ya’ll to run this ad?
June 30, 2015 3:35 pm
nothing. adidas had nothing to do with it and no idea that it was happening. actually was worried that people might think it was an ad because the photography is much cleaner than stuff we have had in the past. truth is, it was just an idea we had and we did it this weekend and met scott (@furkay) a photographer who joined in and his stuff is good as shit. hopefully will be working with him more.

I don’t get it, is the material super resistant to grip tape tearing or something?

This is sick gallery. This should be a little on going thing on Jenkem. Seeing how you guys are based in New York, there bound to be a ton of sneakerheads. I think the next goal is to acquire some yeezy boost and skate them. Or even his Nike shoe, maybe a Ripped Laces X Jenkem Collab in the future? These are just ideas, but it would be cool if this was a re occurring article.
