Before Vice started taking on politics and the news, it used to be primarily filled with stuff about sex, music, drugs and all sorts of DIY, humor type articles. It was pretty cool, like an extension of Big Brother without the skating (which some claim Vice ripped off). I always thought the feature looked fun and it was underutilized by them. So when we were invited to the Street League finals in Newark, we figured there was no better time to rip off their “On Acid” segment but instead of going to fashion shows or monster truck rallies, we’d test it out in the skateboard world.
