I got so hyped on the first couple of minutes of this video that I knew we had to premiere it. This one comes all the way from Stuttgart, Germany where the YAllA crew is keepin’ it weird. Filmed from January to September of 2013, the video mixes in plenty of nostalgic visuals, social commentary and funny ideas to keep it moving. Along with VHS filming & lofi feel, a nod to Palace’s aesthetic no doubt, it feels like a new 90s skate mixtape. Now online for the first time ever, we’re happy to premiere MEDIA OVERLOAD.

Nice to see the kids repping that Golden Era NY hip hop (think Zoo York Mix Tape). I feel the Europeans still appreciate the 90s low impact aesthetic while bringing it into the future. And while I like the whole Mid East Vibe, they need to work on a more refined version, not following the trends. Make your own shine, dont try to catch the Palace shine. The boys may want to take another chapter from the 90s playbook and shorten the play time (101 Snuff). These are some tips, that would take this from a 7 to a 10. But 7 is a good score, so bravo my Nordic nords.
