Tony’s 900° may have recently been outdone by little groms, but the one thing he still has over every other skater alive is an extensive history of profitable and wacky commercial appearances.
We tried tallying them up, and all told, Tony has acted in more than 20+ commercials going back all the way to the ’80s. That’s not even counting his movie, TV, or music appearances, which have all helped cement Tony as the most recognizable skateboarder in the world.
Recently, we got a chance to meet Tony in New York. The team behind his new signature clothing line set up the interview at a swanky Manhattan restaurant, but we threw them a curveball and decided to pester Tony about his most iconic and cringeworthy commercial appearances instead. Hopefully they don’t get too mad.
Thanks again, Tony!
