Jenkem’s Second Annual 999 Challenge is live!
If you missed the beautiful chaos, let me explain. Birthed on the baseball diamond by frat boys and alcoholic fathers, the 999 is a contest consisting of eating nine hot dogs and drinking nine beers in the span of nine innings.
Being the geniuses we are at Jenk, we replaced the innings with tre flips and gathered at Brooklyn’s Blue Park for 9 hotdogs, 9 beers, and 9 treflips.
What ensued was a special day in Brooklyn. No ramps, no pros, no big shoe sponsors, just a hot grill, a kiddie pool full of beer, and straight flatground tricks. The energy, the puke, the nail biting competition. It was captivating.
Thank you everyone for coming out and supporting us. We couldn’t have imagined such an electric crowd! And a special shout to PBR, Element Skateboards, and our competitors for believing in this harebrained idea.
Enjoy the video, it’s unlike anything else in skateboarding.
