Parents always say cookie cutter shit like “You blink and they’re adults” or “They shot up like a bean sprout” when talking about their kids. Well, for Zion Effs, we gotta agree. It feels like just yesterday we were watching Lot 11s afro-clad fetus extraordinaire, and now he’s opening up Baker videos.
Between that and repping Supreme, it’s clear that the awkwardness of adolescence is behind him. To celebrate surpassing a size eight shoe, we had Zion take over for this week’s mix, one stacked full of Carti and highlights from 454 and MF Doom. Personally, we can’t wait until he hits his indie phase. If there’s one thing we know, that first break up always sends a man into the depths of The Cure.
Anyways, per usual, here’s some suggested listening activity for Zion’s “Jenkam” mix: Munching fast food while high as a kite at 1AM, background noise while you prank call a Walmart in Hawaii or building your first beer staff in a homies kitchen.
Download the mix right HERE before its too late.
