About a year ago, we worked with Evisen Skateboards and Theories of Atlantis to put together a premiere for the Evisen video here in Brooklyn. While they were in town, we got to skate and get to know the crew, and after a few slices, beers and “eye-opening” conversations, we began to realize these guys’ minds are just as sick and twisted as our own (if not more).
A few months after the premiere they hit us up and asked if we might be interested in doing a collab with them for Holiday 2018. Recalling our convos about small-but-strong Japanese dongs and weird tentacle porn, we were too curious about what they had in mind.
We had a few brainstorm sessions over Skype calls, and what started off as dumb, “wouldn’t it be funny if” jokes all suddenly materialized into real-life objects. We’re excited to finally show you what we’ve worked up and give you a chance to give us your money for a piece of this rare American-Japanese crossover from us and Evisen.
The whole collab, with the vibrator-shaped cruiser, one-night-stand satchel, and incense-burner to hide any intoxicating stenches, is centered around the idea of giving in to life’s guilty pleasures.
So, to celebrate the release (and to get these photos to show off the products), we got our friend Connor Kammerer to go around the city and over-indulge himself for the day.
That means feasting on 1,000 lbs. (454 kg.) of McDonald’s, downing 5 liters of vodka, munching down glazed donuts, and doing pretty much anything else that could kill you if you don’t take it easy and pace yourself.
Check out the photos of the collection below, and if your shop/retailer gets goods from these distributors, odds are you can get your hands on some of this international goodness:
