Remember “the world’s weirdest skateboarder,” Ali Jusovic? Well, if you don’t, and if you’re too lazy to click on the hyperlink to the interview we did with him back in 2012, let me give you a quick refresher…
Almir Jusovic, hailing from Ljubljana, Slovenia (don’t ask us how to pronounce it), is the self-proclaimed, and rightfully so, “weirdest skateboarder in the world.” He’s got an buttload of unique moves, but his specialty is the bunnyhop, where he crouches down on his board on all fours and springs himself forward kinda like a rabbit or a frog. He told us for the last 10 years it has been his dream to try and jump the Megaramp on all fours, so we recently hit him up to try and turn this dream into a reality.
We’re organizing the trip and donating a base of $200 to start raising just enough money to get Ali from Slovenia to Woodward West. All contributions will go to the travel costs and living expenses for Ali’s first trip to the United States.

Just like our last crowd sourced fundraiser to get Forrest Edwards to Street League, we’ll be posting regular updates and videos about Almir’s journey into the history books as it happens. Maybe even try to stream it live. So pitch in and get weird with us, it’s going to be a wild ride.
