Skateboarders are a bunch of hooligans, no doubt about it. We wax curbs, yell at inanimate objects, focus boards, and do a bunch of other stuff that reflects the “skate and destroy” culture we come from. This all seems normal to us, but if you were to pull your head out of your sweaty ass it would be easy to see how weird these antics must look from the outside. Here we get a glimpse into the confused and frightened mind of a regular pedestrian who happens to cross paths with a crew of skaters. I hate you jenkem because you’re all pompous try hards that attempt to intellectualize skateboarding with your whimsical insight and observations in order to detract from the fact that skateboarding is a mindless hobby that appeals to the lowest common denominator, and the fact that most of you will never have legitimate contributions to writing despite having your parents pay a hundred grand for your opportunity to binge drink, but this was spot on.
