Over the weekend while you were out getting drunk and maybe even getting laid, I was hunting for a shoe. But not just any shoe – I was hunting the new Kanye shoe for Adidas. Now I’m no Hypebeast, but when I heard that the demand for this little sneaker crashed the Adidas app, Footlocker.com, and JimmyJazz.com, and that they were going for $1000 a pair on Craigslist and eBay, I knew we had to get a pair of them. Why?
To skate them of course! We made this clip with Hopps skater Piro Sierra to see what it felt like to shred a thousand dollars via kickflips. To make people remember that these are just shoes. And to make Hypebeasts who are putting them in gold cases feel just a little bit more foolish. So do all of us a favor and send this on to your friend that cares just a little too much about his “dope sneaker collection.”
PS: If you are wondering why there’s no skate audio, our camera got fucked up halfway through filming, so you’re gonna just have to settle for Kanye’s tunes as we burn through his overhyped shoes.

Let’s go crash Benzes, dip mont blancs in water, throw AKG condenser microphones off buildings, bash our big screen TVs with sledgehammers, smash all our gibson les pauls… oh and the DSLR camera used to shoot this? run it over with a car. its just a camera. get a nikon coolpix point and shoot.
Everyone has their thing. No need to bash one group of people who don’t feel a way about something the same way you do.

these shoes are kitsch monstrosities aiming to a very retarded target group and people have all rights to bash on this specific group of people because these people are dickheads. they are dickheads for liking kanye west and they are dickheads for liking this abomination of a shoe. i too kind of collect skate shoes but would never dare have a pair of these in my shitty “collection” because all my mates would stop talking to me even if the shoes were given to me. just having them is totally gay. nothing to do with nice electronic equipment that has actually some use.

Benzes, Mont Blanc, AKG, etc are quality products. This shoes are just shoes. It become expensive just because they only made few and because they sold it as a signature product. Not because its quality.
You can buy Benzes, DSLR, AKG mic, etc. as much as you can and it will still expensive while the shoes value will decrease if Adidas made it unlimited.
