Skateboard media moves pretty fast these days, and I think it’s good to occasionally remind ourselves that just because something came out today or went viral on Facebook 4 minutes ago, doesn’t necessarily make it better or more valuable than skateboarding from years ago. It’s even easy to neglect the timeless and progressive skateboarding of our most beloved skaters just because they aren’t in the vortex of daily content.
With that in mind, we had our friend Joey Sinko edit some of Jamie’s most memorable video moments so far and drench them in 90s and 00s nostalgia. If you ever wanted to remember why you loved “The Chief,” or forgot he was the guy every kid wanted to be before he transitioned into his full blown entrepreneurial business days, check this one out.

Exactly, how are Johnny Cash and Jamie Thomas gay? Thats ridiculous, maybe dated, maybe classics or even acquired. This kid is the product of zero knowledge on skateboarding and music pioneers. So sad.

It’s funny how everyone just wants to skate and everyone wants to be sponsored and everyone wants their own board company and everyone wants to make a living from skating and everyone wants to have video parts and have their own team – well guess what? The Chief did it all and he did it better than you. That’s why he’s still around and that’s why Zero still kills.
