It’s that time of year again folks; piss stench emanating from every corner, nut jobs screaming obscenities on the train, and an infectious energy buzzing like the bees. Summer in New York City is upon us.
Isn’t it romantic!
And to celebrate the beginning of this long sweaty season, we decided to throw a party.
Join us this Saturday, July 11th, as we take over Tompkins Square Park with five, yes five, new obstacles, loads of good music, a hot grill and nutcrackers straight from Rockaway Beach.
Later that night, we’re keeping the party going at Nightclub 101 with DJ sets from Lil Jerry Springer and back-to-back sets from Gemspa + Tenzin and Hopper1000 + Worlock.
Come skate, drink, loiter, party, and keep this already legendary New York summer going. Special thanks to Monster Energy, Sun Bum, Audio-Technica, The Skatepark Project and The Harold Hunter Foundation for making this all possible.
Take a scroll down for both event flyers and a schedule for the day. See you all soon!

I misread this as, “new obstacles, loads of good music, A HOT GIRL and nutcrackers..”

This sounds like a great way to bring the skateboarding community together for the summer. Taking over Tompkins Square Park for a block party should make for a lively atmosphere, especially with the mix of skating, music, geometry dash spam, and good people.
