Hello friends!
I know a lot of you have been asking for shirts and other assorted Jenky products, and to be honest, for a while we weren’t going to do anything. Not because we don’t like you, just because shirts and product is actually kind of a pain in the ass – you gotta make (or ripoff) the design, buy the shirts, silkscreen it, “market it”, pack up the shirts, write notes to everyone and hope nothing in the process gets fucked up. Unless you are doing huge orders (which we aren’t) there’s not a lot of margin and I think mostly breaking even is a success.
With that being said though, there’s something really refreshing about having a physical good and creating something you can actually hold, instead of another Instagram video or Tumblr GIF. So over the next couple of months we will be releasing small quantities of one off Jenkem items and shirts. Different designs, maybe once a month, and just do little fun projects. Stuff that even if it doesn’t sell well, we are stoked to do.
For the first of the series, we figured no better than to rip off this classic Toy Machine fists graphic. Growing up, this one was one of the coolest boards and I always wanted one, but never got it. Hopefully Ed doesn’t get too pissed about this one, so please, if you like them, buy them so we can sellout before Ed sues us.
