The club / rave contingent of skating has slowly been increasing over the last couple of years, but it’s still not the go-to music choice for most skaters. Only recently have we seen skateboarding embrace more electronic-based music in videos, thanks to brands like Palace and Yardsale. And falling right in line with those UK brands is London-based skater Savannah Stacey Keenan. Instead of the usual Sabbath or Wu-Tang, she mixed it up with some trance and rave tunes for you to dance and ingest fun substances to.
After seeing Savannah’s clips in Beyond the 3rd Wave, watching her make Laser Flips look good, and listening to a mix reminiscent of Palace’s Paramount or Palasonic, it makes sense why she’s been introduced to the team so seamlessly.
For full rave ambience we suggest listening at max volume and aggressively flicking the lights on and off until your landlord yells at you.
