Skateboard media moves pretty fast these days, and I think it’s good to occasionally remind ourselves that just because something came out today or went viral on Facebook 4 minutes ago, doesn’t necessarily make it better or more valuable than skateboarding from years ago. It’s even easy to neglect the timeless and progressive skateboarding of our most beloved skaters just because they aren’t in the vortex of daily content.
With that in mind, our friend Joey Sinko felt compelled to edit Brian Sumner’s most memorable video moments and drench them in 90s and 00s nostalgia. If you didn’t know much about Brian Sumner (besides that shoe) or wanted to remember him during his Baker Bootleg heyday before becoming a Christian pastor, check this one out.
