We got invited out to Street League this weekend in Newark, New Jersey to do some coverage, but, always looking to have a little fun, we schemed up some ways to sabotage the sport’s perrenial favorite, Nyjah Huston.
While the filmers from Transworld, The Berrics and other big time outlets were there with their fancy HD cameras filming tricks, we set up a series of booby traps to try and trip up Mr. Ninejah. Unfortunately, he caught on to our rock trap, and even managed to dodge our sleeping-drug dosed Monster (he refused to drink it).
But in the end, victory was ours (and Luan’s). Maybe it was the pressure from the crowd that got to Nyjah’s Monster-hatted head, or maybe he was just bugged out by our Wiley Coyote schemes, but he ended the entire contest with a pretty gnarly faceplant. While most people think it was his sloppy foot positioning that led to his heavy bail, the coverage we caught on our cameras says otherwise.
