AN INSIDE LOOK AT PASS-PORT SKATEBOARDS

There seems to be a spotlight currently on the skateboarding scene down under in Australia. Names like Jack O’Grady, Rowan Davis, Sam Sutton, Josh Pall, Jake Hayes are all breaking through. It’s not just skateboarders that are turning heads but also one board company that seems to have made its way around the world: PASS~PORT.

Back in 2009 with not much going on in the Australian board company realm Trent Evans set out to start something that excited him, something that oozed jazziness.

Over the last 11 years it has developed into a tight knit team of skateboarders, artists and friends in the Sydney and Melbourne area with Trent at the forefront of the operation steering the ship. Pass~Port is something that Australian skateboarders are psyched on, something that they can relate to on home soil.

To get a look behind the scenes we sent our friend (and Aussie local) Izzy Brinsdon to go and hang with Trent for a couple of days and had him explain boards, spots and the company’s recent video Kitsch.

Trent’s humbling personable attitude partnered with a solid community around him seems to be the reason this brand has turned into what it is today.
