THIS CHANNEL IS DUMPING FOOTAGE OF YOUR FAVORITE 2000S SKATERS

At this point, we’re sure you want to scream at us and tell us to stop being so hung up on nostalgia, but hear us out one more time.

Mark Brandstetter, who filmed for a bunch of different brands over the years and helped manage Axion in its heyday, has been quietly uploading a ton of great footage to his YouTube channel.

The uploads are full of raw, extended clips of some of the best and well-known skaters from the early 2000s. We’re talking about the big kahunas here: Bam, Koston, Elissa, Herman, and many more. As someone who first started skating around this period, I would have loved to have seen all this as a kid, but it’s better late than never as they say. Hell there’s even a full Bootleg Euro tour (Baker’s OG sister company) uploaded.

While the names and footage might not fully resonate with the younger heads, we know there’s enough jaded 30+ year olds out there to make it worth sharing. The footage truly captures some of the best skaters in the game (at the time) hanging out when the job of a pro was a little more relaxed.

Check out all the tapes, and spam us about how we need to move on in the comments below. Odds are we probably won’t listen.

My gf said I was livin too much in ’02. So I dumped her.

Back in ’02, I used to be able to 3 flip a quarter mile.

How much you wanna make a bet I can sw ollie over them mountains?… Yeah… Coach woulda put me in fourth quarter, we would’ve been SLS champions. No doubt. No doubt in my mind.

You better believe things would be different. I’d have gone pro in a heartbeat. I’d be making millions of dollars and living in a big ol’ mansion somewhere, soaking it up in a hot tub with my soul mate.
