We get some pretty hilarious and amazing mail from our readers every week and figured instead of just hi-fiving or snickering about it behind a computer screen, we would share it with the rest of you to enjoy. This time we get some from the legendary Shaggy, sending in an actual hand written letter. Feel free to hit us up with your inquirys, complaints, questions, farts – we respond to all our loyal reader’s mail. Who knows, maybe we will feature it here, and the fame and glory will be all yours… kind of.

I’m going to assume this guy is younger, in which case I feel like there is a tiny glimmer of sunlight amid all the bullshit lately in skateboarding. It goes to show that at a young age, at least some people have a sense of reality and not what has been marketed to them. There are so many great skaters that get no recognition for close to what this kid is writing about. The part that really hit home was the “say goodbye to local skate shops, Zumiez is taking over” well fuck, it is true. The only problem though, is despite his intensity towards the current state of skateboarding, I wonder if he is able to overcome being tricked into buying incorrect brands and product that line the pockets of corporations that have nothing to do with skateboarding. That’s a tough one even at an older age
