Well here it is, our annual Tampa Pro photo recap that is always a couple days late due to damaged livers and lost braincells. This is our 5th year here and the formula doesn’t seem to change that much: get drunk – embarrass yourself – lurk Ybor. Then wake up, stand around the contest hungover as hell getting “footy” (this rarely actually happens) and then go out and do it all over again.
Our mandatory beach visit and artsy board shot before the contest weekend started.
Italo Romano aka “the guy with no legs” makes an appearance again and blows the minds of human beings everywhere.
This random guy passed out on top of the ramp around 3:30 on Sunday. People were taking pictures of him like it was some historical Tampa tourist attraction.
Sweaty Ishod approved! Dude had one of the best runs in the entire contest, hands down. Video proof:
Nyjah Huston, the young robo-prodigy has now officially been Thrasher branded and is “down for life yo.”
Speaking of robots, Shane O’Neil aka ZIGRAM23 has recently learned how to show more complex emotions, such as smiling. Technology rules.
Sausage Skateboards – we don’t know who you are but this sticker is hilarious.
Skate Park of Tampa always has interesting vintage skateboard memorabilia lying around.
Tampa always attracts a higher level of ramp tramp than any other skateboard events.
What’s in your pockets?
The original boards from Yeah Right. I wonder how much one of these would go for on eBay?
See you next year!
